Keith Wakeley BSc (Hons) MCIOB

Keith originally studied civil engineering before taking a role as a land surveyor. For 14 years prior to establishing H&W Surveying and Consulting Keith has worked as a building surveyor for both loss adjusters and independent surveyors managing large loss insurance claims together with providing defect diagnosis and validation surveys.

Experienced in dealing with all types of building damage both domestic and commercial Keith has developed a wealth of experience managing customers, suppliers Insurers and third parties.

Over the course of the last seven years Keith has worked on development of the aerial surveying offering, bringing together experience of land surveying and building surveying with new technology to deliver quality deliverables in this fast developing sector.

Keith is a Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB), qualified UAV (Drone) Pilot and holds the IPAF PAL card for MEWP operation.

In his spare time Keith is the Team Leader of Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team, a voluntary organisation providing rescue services to the Police and Ambulance services across the northern Peak District.

Nick Hislop

Originally from a Quantity Surveying background Nick has worked in the insurance sector for over 20 years, setting up, maintaining and developing supply chains for blue chip companies over a variety of industry sectors.

Nick has a wealth of knowledge and experience managing people, bringing strong leadership, networking and communication skills to work with clients to create user friendly processes and procedures often for complex working practices. Focussing on developing a deep understanding of complex processes from both client and supplier perspectives Nick works with all parties to develop products efficiently delivered by suppliers to match client expectations.

Nick draws on his wealth of experience together with strong analytical and planning skills to work with clients to help them enable change when necessary to improve their service delivery.

In his spare time Nick pursues his passion for motor racing, being an accomplished motorcycle trials rider.

Duncan Sissons MRICS, MAPM, MIoD and FIHEEM – Director (Non Exec)

Duncan is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 40 years experience most recently predominantly in healthcare. Duncan’s particular skill set is strategic project management and problem solving. Duncan enjoys working in fast paced dynamic environments where he is able to best use his skills to deliver smarter spaces and brighter futures.

Duncan has held various Director & Partner positions at some of the UK’s leading built environment consultancies over the course of his career. Duncan was recently Project Director delivering pre-construction Services for the new Children’s Cancer Centre development at Great Ormond Street Hospital & he continues to lead the planning process for the client & contractor.

In his spare time Duncan is a senior member of Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team, a voluntary organisation providing rescue services to the Police and Ambulance services across the northern Peak District.

Ian Harvey – Project Surveyor RICS Student Member

Ian is an experienced Account Director and a qualified project management professional with a demonstrated history of working 35 years in the construction industry. Skilled in Project Management and Quantity Surveying delivering services to many public and private sectors within the industry.

Ian has managed businesses and teams in both the public and private sectors. Very strong leader, good communicator, and motivator at all levels.

Ian is Qualified to HNC in Building Studies, Diploma in Management Studies and has CITB Site Management Safety Training (SMSTS). Also, a member of the Institute of Facilities Management, and currently working towards- MRICS.
